The Project

What we built, and why.

OZ is a talent-management platform that covers the employee lifecycle in one interface — recruiting, assessment, development and succession. AI wizards parse CVs and weigh candidates; psychometric assessments from partners such as Saville, Accelium and Test Partnership measure potential; in-platform learning develops it.

The website had to make an HR suite feel approachable, and move HR leaders to ask for a demo.

Design Process

How we approached it.

We leaned into the name. The magic theme — wands, gems, sparkle — turns abstract HR processes into memorable illustrations, while each section’s copy stays concrete about what the platform does.

Every feature block ends in the same place: Ask for Demo.

Development

Build highlights.

  1. Lifecycle narrative

Hire-to-retire explained in four memorable sections.

  2. Illustration system

A custom magic-themed visual language for every feature.

  3. Assessment partners

    Psychometric partners presented as credibility.

  4. Pricing

    Plans laid out for self-qualification.

  5. Demo & login

Demo requests and customer login in the header.

Problem Solving

Challenges and solutions.

01 Challenge

Making HR software memorable.

HR software sites tend to look identical and blur together.

01 Solution

One brand idea, carried all the way.

The OZ magic theme runs through illustrations, headings and microcopy, while the features stay concrete.

02 Challenge

Explaining a broad suite simply.

Covering hire-to-retire risks a feature list nobody reads.

02 Solution

Four ideas, four sections.

Automation, assessment, customisation and the lifecycle — each a short illustrated section with one call to action.

Outcome

Results and impact.

OZ has a distinctive product site that explains its whole lifecycle offer in a few scrolls and sends qualified HR leaders straight to a demo request.

Takeaway

Final thoughts.

“In a crowded software category, memorable beats comprehensive.”

A playful brand only works when the copy underneath it is precise. We kept the magic in the visuals and the facts in the words.
