The Project
What we built, and why.
Jopez Academy Asia teaches children — and their parents — how money works: camps such as Camp Millionaire, webinars and masterclasses on financial parenting, and hands-on kits like the 3 Money Jars and the Money Junior board games.
That makes the business three businesses at once: an events company selling seats, a publisher selling downloads and a shop shipping physical products. The site had to sell all three to busy parents in one place, with one cart and one checkout.

Design Process
How we approached it.
The homepage speaks to the parent first: the problem — passing on money habits without meaning to — then the way out, then the programmes. Products and courses come after the reason to care, not before it.
We structured the catalogue around what a parent is trying to do — book a camp, join a webinar, buy a kit — and kept bestsellers and early-bird pricing visible, so promotions sell without banners shouting over the content.

Problem Solving
Challenges and solutions.
01 Challenge
Selling seats, downloads and boxes through one checkout.
A camp seat, a PDF report and a board game behave differently after payment: capacity, delivery and shipping all diverge.
01 Solution
Model each product type properly, then share the cart.
Seats carry capacity, downloads deliver on payment, kits ship — and the parent sees one simple checkout either way.
02 Challenge
Keeping a growing programme list easy to browse.
New camps, webinars and early-bird variants arrive constantly; a flat list quickly becomes a wall.
02 Solution
Structured listings with sale and bestseller states.
Courses and products are grouped, priced and promoted from the CMS, so the team launches a programme without a redesign.
Outcome
Results and impact.
Parents go from the first problem statement to a booked camp or a delivered kit in one visit, and the academy runs its programmes, products and promotions from one admin.
Every new camp or webinar is a listing, not a project.
Takeaway
Final thoughts.
“Parents don’t want three systems. They want their child in the next camp.”
Combining learning and commerce is a structure problem before it is a design one. Get the product types right and the checkout can stay simple.
