The Project

What we built, and why.

Virtually runs online events — exhibitions with virtual booths, conference halls, webinars and livestreams — for organisations in Malaysia. It grew up when events moved online overnight, and it competes on one thing: making a screen feel like a gathering.

The website had to prove that before the sales call. Its own pages became the first demonstration of the experience: motion, people and live interaction rather than screenshots of a dashboard.

Technologies used

  • WordPress CMS
  • Elementor
  • Slider Revolution
  • GSAP animation
  • Livestream embeds
  • Joinchat live chat
  • Yoast SEO

Design Process

How we approached it.

The line “Moving Human Moments” set the direction. We led with people — speakers, audiences, faces — and used motion to suggest the live quality of an event, leaving the platform’s mechanics for later in the journey.

The structure follows a buyer’s doubts in order: who you are, why go virtual at all, what you deliver, and proof from past events — with the enquiry form at the end of every path.

Development

Build highlights.

  1. Livestream Integration

Infrastructure supporting livestream events and loopable virtual backgrounds.

  2. Chat & Engagement Tools

Live chat functionality (Joinchat) that keeps audience interaction happening in real time.

  3. Custom UX/UI Design

Layouts designed to preserve human touch and authenticity, moving beyond standard webinar formats.

Problem Solving

Challenges and solutions.

01 Challenge

Selling virtual events to clients who preferred physical ones.

Many buyers saw online events as a compromise rather than a format.

01 Solution

Make the case on the buyer’s terms.

The site leads with impact, cost saving and outreach — the reasons a virtual event can do more — before it explains the technology.

02 Challenge

Showing a live experience on a static page.

A screenshot of a virtual hall looks empty; the product only makes sense in motion.

02 Solution

Motion and live media as the proof.

Loopable backgrounds, livestream embeds and live chat show the experience working, on the page itself.

Outcome

Results and impact.

Virtually sells the experience rather than the software: prospective clients see the livestreams, the halls and the interaction before they enquire, and reach the form already convinced the format works.

The events archive and the blog keep that proof current as new events go live.

Takeaway

Final thoughts.

“A virtual event is sold on one feeling: that you were there.”

We built the site to behave like the product — moving, live and human — so the first event a client experiences is the website itself.

Your platform could be the next one we write up.
