The Project

What we built, and why.

Pac & Cap Hospitality Group operates premium dining in Kuala Lumpur, including Smith & Wollensky’s Malaysian restaurant. Its name spells out its purpose — Purposefully Advancing Communities — and its audience is partners, investors and talent as much as diners.

The website had to present the group behind the brand: who they are, what they stand for, and how to work with them.

Design Process

How we approached it.

We framed the group with its mission and vision, set in the same refined serif and deep greens as its flagship restaurant, so the group and the brand clearly belong together.

The featured brand, partnerships and “moments” from events give the group substance, with partnership as the main call to action.

Problem Solving

Challenges and solutions.

01 Challenge

A group site living in the shadow of a famous brand.

Visitors know Smith & Wollensky; few know the operator behind it.

01 Solution

Introduce the group through the brand.

The flagship is featured prominently, framed by the group’s own mission and vision.

02 Challenge

Speaking to partners, not only diners.

Partners and investors need to see purpose and track record, not menus.

02 Solution

Purpose-first structure.

Mission, vision, partnerships and moments come before anything diner-facing.

Outcome

Results and impact.

Pac & Cap has a group presence that explains who stands behind its restaurants and gives partners a clear way to start a conversation.

Takeaway

Final thoughts.

“Behind every great restaurant is an operator worth knowing.”

A group site earns its place by saying what the brand alone cannot: why the people behind it should be trusted with the next one.
