The Project

What we built, and why.

Atlas Collective is a creative collective — brand, content and events — for clients such as Jerry’s Coworking Space, AIA Elite Academy, BananaBro, Atomy Malaysia and Tomei, plus its own events, like the REALTIME virtual symposium and FutureProof.

An agency’s site is its first pitch. It had to show range, attitude and craft at once, and make a prospective client want to talk.

Design Process

How we approached it.

“Crafting Greatness” set the tone: bold editorial type, high-contrast imagery and a voice that states opinions. The manifesto sits in the main navigation instead of hiding in an about page.

Work is presented client by client, with events given their own spotlight, so a visitor sees both the collective’s output and its ambition.

Development

Build highlights.

  1. Works showcase

Client projects presented as visual stories.

  2. Events spotlight

REALTIME and FutureProof given their own campaign pages.

  3. Manifesto

The collective’s point of view, in the main navigation.

  4. Telegraph

A publishing section for ideas and news.

  5. Careers & Olympians

Recruitment and the team, presented as part of the brand.

Problem Solving

Challenges and solutions.

01 Challenge

Showing range without diluting identity.

Brand, content and event work look very different from one client to the next.

01 Solution

One frame for every project.

A consistent showcase layout lets diverse work sit together as one body of work.

02 Challenge

Standing out among agency sites.

Agency portfolios tend to look the same: a grid of logos and a contact form.

02 Solution

A published point of view.

The manifesto and the Telegraph give prospective clients a reason to agree with the collective before they hire it.

Outcome

Results and impact.

Atlas Collective has a site that pitches before the pitch: prospective clients see the work, the events and the point of view, and contact the team already knowing what it stands for.

Takeaway

Final thoughts.

“An agency’s website is the one brief it writes for itself.”

We let the collective’s voice lead. A portfolio shows what an agency can do; a point of view shows why to hire it.

Your platform could be the next one we write up.
